Novena to
Jesus Eucharist

Day 1

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself with Jesus, who stooped to wash the feet of His apostles.

Jesus tells us, “I have given you an example, that you may do as you have seen Me do.”

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages done to Our Lord

  • by sacrilegious confessions which, instead of purifying the soul, increase its guilt…
  • by hearts insensitive to the divine appeals of Jesus…

Invocation

Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine.

Day 2

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself to Jesus who, unwilling to leave us orphans, instituted the Eucharist to remain with us always.

The love of Jesus leads Him not to separate Himself from those He loves; His divine power allows Him to say: “Behold, I am with you until the end of time…”

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages done to Our Lord

  • by the indifference of the world towards the Holy Eucharist…
  • by the solitude of our churches…
  • by the contempt with which Jesus is treated…
  • by the profanation of Sunday…

Invocation

Praised and glorified forever be the most holy and divine Sacrament of the Altar.

Day 3

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself to Jesus giving Himself to us in Communion.

Jesus tells us, “He who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life; he remains in Me and I in him…” – Communion transforms us into Jesus… communicates His spirit to us… animates us with His will… “I live; not I, but Christ lives in me,” said the Apostle Saint Paul.

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages done to Our Lord

  • by sacrilegious Communions…
  • by the thefts and profanations of the Holy Species…
  • by lukewarm Communions, without preparation, without thanksgiving…

Invocation

“O sacred banquet, in which Christ becomes our food: the memory of His Passion is renewed, the soul is filled with graces, and the pledge of eternal glory is given to us.” (Office of the Blessed Sacrament)

Day 4

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself to Jesus Adorer in Gethsemane.

The Adoring Heart of Jesus burns with an ardent love, which makes Him fulfill all the wills of His Father. “In everything I obey My Father…”

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages done to Our Lord

  • by the Luciferian blasphemies denying God and His rights…
  • by the worship of the golden calf…
  • by the adoration of the creature…

Invocation

O God, our Protector, look and cast Thine eyes upon the Face of Thy Christ.

Day 5

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself to Jesus the Reparator in Gethsemane.

Of Jesus living in His tabernacle, we can say what St. John the Baptist said of Him, at the time of His mortal life: “Behold the Lamb of God, behold Him who carries the sins of the world…”

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages done to Our Lord

  •  by criminal thoughts and desires…
  • by rebellion against His adorable precepts…
  • by the contempt of the evangelical counsels.

Invocation

Heart of Jesus, Victim of sinners, have mercy on us!

Day 6

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself with Jesus, sweating blood in Gethsemane.

In the Garden of Agony, Jesus sustains Himself in the immolation by full adherence to His Father’s will: “Holy Father, not Mine, but Thy will be done.”

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages done to Our Lord

  •  by men who, in trials, rebel against God and descend to despair…

Invocation

Holy Father, I offer You the most precious Blood of Jesus in expiation of my sins, for the conversion of sinners and for the needs of the holy Church.

Day 7

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself with Jesus betrayed by Judas.

Jesus comes to the betrayer and says to him: “Friend, who are you looking for?” and Judas comes to give Him a kiss! – What iniquity and ingratitude on the part of Judas! He forgets the benefits he has received from his Master… he only takes advantage of it to betray Him, and betray Him with the sign of friendship: a kiss! – What gentleness in the Heart of Jesus! in all His attitude and in His words! To the offence, to the kiss of betrayal, He answers with these words that should have thrown the guilty man at His feet: “My friend, why have you come here? Judas, it is with a kiss that you betray the Son of Man!”

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages done to Our Lord:

  •  by the hypocritical betrayal of the new Judases in the present times…
  • by the outrage of those kisses which make the demons laugh and the angels cry…
  • by the ingratitude of the resistances to grace, which lead to the hardening of the heart…

Scripture tells us, “If today you hear the voice of God, beware lest you harden your hearts.” Let us ask with humility and self-defiance for the grace of perseverance… “The spirit is swift, but the flesh is weak.” said Jesus.

Invocation

O Jesus, make me love You always and love You more each day.

Day 8

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself with Jesus, who was struck by an infamous servant in the court of the high priest Anne.

Jesus, whose dignity and nobility are infinite, is slapped by an insolent and rude slave. – He receives this insult with extreme patience. “He gave His cheek to be struck.”  (Jeremiah.) – “I was silent and humbled.”  (Psalm)

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages inflicted on Our Lord:

  • by the words, writings, films, songs, images, which treat Him with more contempt than one would treat the lowest of men.

Invocation

“Let all peoples praise You, O Lord; let all peoples pay You homage.”  (Psalm)

Day 9

Offering

Divine Saviour Jesus, I offer You, through the compassionate Heart of Mary, the prayers, works and sufferings of this day, in reparation for my offenses and for all the intentions You have in immolating Yourself continually on the altar.

Today I unite myself to Jesus who is reviled in His Sacrament of Love.

“I did not turn away My face from those who covered Me with spit and reproach.” (Psalm)  Our Saviour’s face is spat upon. It is a vile, dishonorable torment… And He who is thus treated is the One of whom the Prophet said, “Show us Your face and we shall be saved.”

Reparation

Through my love, I want to repair the outrages committed against Our Lord:

  • by those who are using the crucifixes and even the Holy Hosts for diabolical rituals
  • by those who say: “God does not exist. If there is a God, He is inaccessible, He does not care about our matters.”

Invocation

Heart of Jesus, filled with opprobrium, have mercy on us!
